Armagh Orthodontic Clinic is the only specialist Orthodontic clinic in County Armagh and since opening in 2001 we have treated nearly 20,000 happy patients. OUR CLINICIAN
When you start treatment at Armagh Orthodontic Clinic, you will be seen by our leading orthodontist: Jane Gormley - BDS, FDS (RCS Eng), FFD (RCSI), MOrth (RCS Eng), MOrth (RCS Ed), MMed Sc.
Founder of Armagh Orthodontic Clinic, Jane qualified from Queens University, Belfast, in 1990. She obtained her MOrth qualification in 1998 and set up the specialist Armagh Orthodontic Clinic following a two-year full time appointment as a Senior Dental Officer in the Orthodontic Department at The Erne Hospital, Enniskillen.
As well as her role as a part-time Senior Dental Officer in Orthodontics at The South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen, Jane is also a member of the Northern Ireland Specialist Orthodontic Group, the British Orthodontic Society, the Orthodontic Society of Ireland and the European Orthodontic Society.
OUR ORTHODONTIC TEAM
Louise McAtasney
Louise earned her Diploma in Dental hygiene from Queens University, Belfast in 2008 and now works part-time at Armagh Orthodontic Clinic. As well as offering care and advice to all patients regarding good dental health, dietary and hygiene practice, she is also qualified to professionally clean teeth and advise patients who want to stop smoking.
Katie Cornett
Joining the Armagh Orthodontic Clinic in 2008, Katie is our qualified Orthodontic Therapist - a diploma she obtained in 2016. Katie is also certified to take dental X-rays and she enjoys both the clinical and management areas of her job.
Roseanne Jackson
Roseanne joined the Armagh Orthodontic Clinic team in 2008, where she has since qualified as a registered dental nurse. Roseanne works mainly in the clinical areas of our practice and is always happy to help patients and advise them on maintaining good oral hygiene.
Sarah Fox
Another key member of the Armagh Orthodontic Clinic team, registered dental nurse Sarah joined the practice in 2010 and is certified to take dental Xrays.. Nowadays Sarah is our Treatment Co-ordinator, liaising with our patients and anyone who is thinking of having orthodontic treatment. Sarah also works in reception and in the clincial rooms and really enjoys being able to help people who have orthodontic concerns. Sarah is always available to patients for advice on taking care of their teeth and braces.
Alison Gates
Alison joined Armagh Orthodontic Clinic in 2013. In 2014 she completed her training which led to the Diploma in Dental Nursing and works both in our reception and in the clinic. Alison is our Decontamination Manager
Connie McClure
Connie joined us in 2020 and is a registered dental nurse. Connie has previously worked in both general dental practice and orthodontic practice and is certified to take dental Xrays.
